Mayor Emano approves more infra projects

[AdSense01] Cagayanons has nothing else to ask for in terms of infrastructure development as City Mayor Vicente Y. Emano recently approved various infrastructure projects in the city.

One of the three projects include the construction of an overpass which will be built across Capitol University Medical City, one of the accident-prone areas along the national highway.

Mayor Emano also gave the go-signal for the installation of the P1.5 million water system project at the Phase 3 of Cala-anan Resettlement Site in barangay Canitoan. The said project, duly approved by the Cagayan de Oro Water District board, is part of the P6 million funding for the project in the area.

Another infrastructure project is the rehabilitation and concreting of the 75-meter road in Purok 5, barangay Gusa. Program of works for the purpose is already prepared, the mayor said.

The three projects are among the various infrastructure projects worth P23 million, excluding additional P4.54 million funding, ordered released by Mayor Emano for barangay infrastructure development.

Mayor Emano hoped that with these projects, quality of life of the city?s poor residents will improve.

SSS to issue registration plate

All Social Security System (SSS) member-employer in the city are advised to get registration plates and compliance stickers at the SSS branch here.

In a letter sent to City Mayor Vicente Y. Emano, SSS management asked the city government?s support in its campaign requiring all business establishments to get registration plates.

The plate must be posted in business establishments to facilitate identification and to enable SSS to provide assistance and coverage of employers and employees? membership.

Mayor Emano is urging all the member-employers of the city to comply to the said requests for their social security benefits.
